Job Description

We are rapidly growing and have great ambition to continue developing globally. We’re looking for an experienced B2B Chief Marketing Officer to oversee all marketing operations of Linkfluence and fuel our growth. You will be in charge of a global team of enthusiastic B2B marketing professionals.

Your main objectives will be to generate demand for Linkluence’s solutions and establish our brand as a leader in social intelligence by:

  • defining marketing strategies to support Linkfluence’s growth and sales teams,
  • taking ownership and delivering the global marketing plan,
  • measuring and improving marketing performance and ROI.

More precisely, your responsibilities will be as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Generate demand in our core markets, with a strong focus on the US.
  • Contribute to optimize our go-to-market strategy with our regional VP Sales.
  • Define marketing strategies to support our growth, particularly lead generation, inbound marketing, content marketing, account-based marketing, events, product marketing and communication.
  • Develop the global marketing plan and corresponding budget and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
  • Measure results of the global marketing plan and specific campaigns on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure sales / marketing alignment and be a reliable partner for VP Sales.
  • Coordinate marketing contribution with other departments to key strategic projects of the company.
  • Define Linkfluence core messaging, tone of voice and other branding elements.
  • Manage the marketing team.
  • Build and develop the skills of the marketing team.

Profile

  • You want to change the way brands listen to their customers.
  • You are a leader with both creative and analytical capabilities. You can balance a practical mindset with a creative business acumen and lead people through complex marketing operations.
  • You are passionate about marketing and especially B2B marketing
  • You have outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • You’re a competitor: you’re always aiming at outperforming competition
  • You have good listening skills: you love listening to social media and your team and colleagues at the same time!
  • You’re comfortable with fast pace environment. You have a scale-up spirit: you are open-minded, you are agile and flexible, and resourceful.

Preferred experience

  • 10+ years in B2B marketing roles.
  • Proven experience as VP Marketing or Chief Marketing Officer or similar role in SaaS companies.
  • Experience in the US / marketing to US clients.
  • Good knowledge of US B2B SaaS marketing practices.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient B2B marketing strategies such as inbound marketing, content marketing, ABM, events, product marketing, etc....
  • Excellent knowledge of the B2B SaaS Sales & Marketing stack (CRM, inbound marketing software, CMS…). Knowledge of the HubSpot platform is a plus.
  • Some understanding of market research, consumer insight and data analysis methods used by B2C brands.
  • Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
  • MSc/MA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field.
  • English must be your working language. French language is a plus.
